REGISTERED NURSE SUPERVISOR (RN) - WOODLANDS NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER

Job Summary
Oversee nursing staff on shift at Liberty's Woodlands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, directing and supervising the Nursing Services Department to provide the best patient care in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, facility policies, and local/state/federal regulations. Supervise and assist nurses with patients during acute episodes, handle employee issues, and assume on-call responsibilities. Requires RN licensure from the NC Board of Nursing and CPR certification; prior long-term care experience preferred. Participate in in-service trainings and staff meetings, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and quality nursing care is delivered to geriatric patients.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing
- CPR certified yearly
- Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required
- Ability to supervise nursing staff assuring that work assignments are completed appropriately and timely
- Read, know, and follow personnel, department and Facility policies and procedures and adhere to local, state, and federal requirements
- Long Term Care experience preferred
