Job Summary
RN Supervisor position for Genesis Healthcare in Camden, ME. Responsible for leading the clinical operations of the nursing units on the assigned shift, reporting to the Director of Nursing, ensuring compliance with policies and care standards, facilitating the care delivery model, maintaining adequate nursing staff 24/7 with emphasis on minimizing overtime and agency usage, and participating in staff recruitment, orientation, mentoring, and promotion decisions. Full-time, weekday schedule (Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm). Requirements include RN licensure, 3+ years clinical experience (2+ in long-term care with 1 year in supervision), and BLS/CPR certification. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing
- Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity (BSN preferred)
- Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification and RN license
