Job Summary
RN Supervisor with Administrative Duties for 3pm-11pm at Solaris HealthCare Charlotte Harbor (Port Charlotte/Englewood, FL). The role oversees the evenings nursing department, coordinates resource utilization, oversees the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation), and ensures regulatory compliance and interdisciplinary communication to support resident and family satisfaction. Responsibilities include data collection, trending, analysis, and reporting in the absence of the DON/ADON. Requires current Florida RN license, CPR certification, and English proficiency. Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred; two years RN experience with one year supervisory experience preferred. Must be able to make independent decisions, relate information about residents’ conditions, and interact tactfully with residents, families, staff, and regulators. Will work in a fast-paced skilled nursing and rehab facility environment with potential for extended hours and travel between Solaris locations; ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 35 pounds) and pass mandatory health screenings.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida
- CPR certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Two years’ experience as a RN with 1 year nursing supervisory experience preferred
- Must be able to speak and understand the English language
- Ability to make independent decisions and provide care appropriate to the residents' needs
- Ability to relate information concerning residents’ condition
- Ability to work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset residents and families
- Must meet physical requirements including ability to move and lift up to 35 pounds
- Must pass Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening
