Job Summary
Supervises nursing staff on shifts and directs the Nursing Services Department to ensure the best patient care. Assists the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating and supervising nursing services, supervises nursing services during shifts in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, Facility policies and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations. Supervises and assists nurses with patients during acute episodes, addresses employee problems promptly, handles on-call responsibilities, and performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year.
- CPR certified yearly
