Job Summary
Registered Nurse Supervisor responsible for supervising the Facility and directing nursing staff during shifts, assisting the Director of Nursing in coordinating Nursing Services, ensuring compliance with the Nursing Practice Act and applicable policies and regulations, supervising and assisting nurses with patients during acute episodes, addressing employee issues, and maintaining on-call responsibilities. CPR certification and ongoing staff development are required in a geriatric long-term care setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing
- CPR certified yearly
- Ability to supervise nursing staff
- Read, know, and follow personnel, department and Facility policies and procedures and adhere to local, state, and federal requirements
