REGISTERED NURSE SUPERVISOR (RN) - OAK FOREST HEALTH & REHAB CENTER

Job Summary
Supervises nursing staff on shift and assists the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department. Oversees nursing services for the facility during the shift in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, facility policies and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations. Supervises and assists nurses with patients during acute episodes, addresses employee issues promptly, and assumes on-call responsibilities. Performs other duties as assigned. Requires a high school diploma, RN license (North Carolina), CPR certification, and ability to supervise staff while following facility policies; long-term care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Registered Nurse license from North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current, valid nursing license
- CPR certification yearly
- Ability to supervise nursing staff
- Read, know, and follow personnel, department and Facility policies and procedures
- Adhere to local, state, and federal requirements
- Long Term Care experience preferred
