Job Summary
Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services oversees shift nursing care, directs the nursing staff, and assists the Director of Nursing in coordinating Nursing Services. Responsibilities include supervising nursing services per Nursing Practice Act and Facility policies, supporting care during acute episodes, addressing employee issues, handling on-call duties, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires RN license (NC), high school graduate, CPR certification, and preferred long-term care experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Registered Nurse, licensed by North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Current, valid RN license (NC) with renewal submission every other year
- CPR certification yearly
- Ability to supervise nursing staff and ensure timely completion of work assignments
- Read, know, and follow personnel, department, and Facility policies and procedures; adhere to local/state/federal requirements
- Experience in long-term care and geriatric nursing preferred
- On-call responsibilities
- Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required
- Background checks/drug-free workplace
