Job Summary
Oversee nursing services during each shift and supervise the nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care in a geriatric long-term care setting. Assist the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department. Ensure compliance with the Nursing Practice Act, facility policies, and local/state/federal regulations; supervise and assist nurses with patients during acute episodes; address employee concerns promptly; assume on-call responsibilities; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with license from South Carolina Board of Nursing
- High school graduate
- CPR certified yearly
- Experience supervising nursing staff preferred
- Long Term Care experience preferred
