Job Summary
Supervise the nursing staff and the Facility during shifts, assist the Director of Nursing in directing and coordinating Nursing Services, ensure care aligns with the Nursing Practice Act and applicable policies/regulations, supervise nurses during acute episodes, address employee issues and document actions, assume on-call responsibilities, and perform other duties as assigned in a geriatric long-term care setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Registered Nurse, licensed by North Carolina Board of Nursing
- CPR certification yearly
- Able to supervise nursing staff and ensure timely completion of work
- Read and follow facility policies and procedures, and state/federal requirements
- Geriatric nursing interest
- Long Term Care experience preferred
