Job Summary
RN Supervisor, full-time Day shift in Ripley, OH. Oversees nursing operations in a long-term care and assisted living facility, supervising RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to deliver high-quality care. Responsibilities include performance evaluations and coaching, staffing coverage, development and updates to care plans, direct patient care when needed (medications, treatments, procedures), ensuring compliance with federal/state/local regulations, maintaining accurate EHR documentation, and participating in quality improvement initiatives (infection control, fall prevention, pressure sore management). Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic resident care and effective communication with residents and families. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program (associate or bachelor’s degree), active RN license, and 2-3 years of nursing experience with leadership experience. Skills include leadership, care planning, strong organizational and time-management abilities, and proficiency with EHR systems.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing)
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent clinical assessment, care planning, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and regulatory compliance (federal, state, local)
- Ability to administer medications, treatments, and perform clinical procedures as needed
- Commitment to residents' dignity, privacy, and person-centered care
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, social workers)
