Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator Post-Partum at Medical City Arlington oversees patient-centered care and coordination of the postpartum unit during night shifts with rotating weekends. Responsibilities include admitting/discharging processes, quality assessment of patient care, collaboration with management to improve outcomes, staff development and training, staff scheduling, and inventory control. Qualifications include BLS and NRP within 30 days, valid Texas RN license, and a degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Associate) within 1 year; 2+ years supervisory or RN charge experience and 2+ years in Women's Services preferred. The role emphasizes leadership, patient throughput, teamwork, and adherence to policies to support high-quality postpartum care.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Valid Texas RN License
- Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- 2+ year's in a Supervisor or RN Charge preferred
- 2+ year's in Women's Services preferred
