Job Summary
Coordinate staffing, patient assignments, and workflow to deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout evening shifts at Dell Seton Medical Center. Assess patient needs, provide leadership and coaching to nursing staff, and drive quality improvement initiatives while ensuring service line needs are met. Partner with leadership to support unit goals, safety protocols, and physician satisfaction. Requires Texas RN licensure, 2+ years of board runner experience, and Level 1 trauma background. Includes evening schedule with on-call rotation and holiday assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
- 2+ years experience OR RN experience
- 2+ years Board runner experience
- Level 1 trauma experience
- Evening | Full Time Board Runner Monday - Thursday 12p-10:30pm with on call rotation, holiday assigned on rotation
