Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct guest/resident care and supervision of licensed and non-licensed team members in a skilled nursing center. Leads and supports the Mission to champion quality of life for seniors, participates in care planning and case management (Medicare and non-Medicare), administers medications, conducts rounds, documents accurately, and ensures regulatory compliance. Exercises clinical leadership over CNAs/DNAs, participates in QA and regulatory activities, leads restorative and infection-control practices, and contributes to team success and ongoing staff training. Requires current RN license, nursing degree, supervisory experience in long-term care, knowledge of RAI/Care Plan processes, and ability to collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of approved college / school of nursing
- Current state/provincial RN license
- Demonstrated supervisory/management experience in skilled nursing or related setting
- Knowledge of Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and Care Plan Process
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and teaching ability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours
