Job Summary
Provide direct services to clients in a 24/7 residential setting, intervening in conflicts to ensure a positive milieu. Teach coping skills, activities of daily living, and psychoeducation while developing individual and group treatment plans for substance use and mental health disorders. Monitor medications, supervise laboratory testing, and document behavior incidents and client observations objectively. Transport clients as needed and provide crisis assessment and intervention. Assist residents with nutrition, hygiene, and basic home care skills. Requires RN licensure in CT and experience with substance use disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a School of Nursing from an Accredited Nursing Program
- RN Licensure
- Experience working with patients with substance use and mental health disorders
- Experience working in a managed care environment
- RN license to practice in State of CT
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- CPR & First Aid Certification obtained within 90 days of employment
