Job Summary
Registered Nurse collaborates with physicians in an office setting. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed physician, provides health care to patients including diagnosis and treatment. Obtains medical histories, performs physical examinations, makes diagnosis and orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests. Review test results. Provides patient education about underlying medical condition. Instructs and counsels patients regarding therapeutic regimens, promoting wellness and health maintenance. Administers immunizations/medications as needed. The Registered Nurse will perform other duties as assigned by supervising physicians. Ensure HIPAA guidelines are followed at all times. Travel required to all 5 office locations: Southampton, Southold, Hampton Bays, Center Moriches & Riverhead
