Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Stepdown ICU at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Full-Time, 12-hour day shift (7a-7p) in Cardiac II Unit. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred) and active RN licensure. Transition program from step-down to ICU available. Leadership responsibilities include coordinating with physicians and healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans focused on optimal patient outcomes. Benefits offered; sign-on bonus may be available. Must be a compassionate, team-oriented clinician with strong collaboration and patient-care skills. Prior ICU/step-down experience preferred; Board-approved refresher course required if license inactive for five years or more and no recent licensure in another state within five years.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in good standing
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or higher (preferred)
- One year of relevant nursing experience preferred
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state
