Registered Nurse Stepdown ICU

Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans; coordinate well-coordinated, multidisciplinary patient care; note and carry out physician and nursing orders; assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Requires RN licensure in Indiana and a nursing diploma or equivalent licensure, plus BLS within 30 days. ICU/Stepdown experience preferred. Rotating shifts include 7pm–7:30am or 7am–7:30pm with every third weekend and holiday rotation. This role is based in Indianapolis at Ascension St. Vincent Seton Hospital, ICU Stepdown department.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire
- Registered Nurse credential from the Indiana Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program OR required professional licensure at time of hire
