Job Summary
Registered Nurse in stepdown/unit rotation (Days, 36hr/week) at Mercy. Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and adheres to Mercy Service Standards. Requires licensure as an RN in the hiring state or compact licensure; education can be an Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN. Certifications such as BLS and various unit-specific credentials (ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NRP, CPHON, OCN, C-EFM, etc.) may be required based on unit. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing/walking. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, and retirement plans for 32+ hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Licensure: RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required or within 30 days of hire
- ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS/PALS/PEARS/S.T.A.B.L.E./C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications may be required
