Job Summary
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the stepdown unit by following established clinical standards and evidence-based protocols. Lead the multidisciplinary team in coordinating and communicating care, execute physician and nursing orders with precision, monitor and document patient progress, and take a primary role in discharge planning to ensure safe, timely transitions. Requires a nursing diploma or equivalent licensure with Florida RN credentialing and BLS within 30 days of hire; hospital-based, acute-care experience in a stepdown setting is implied by the role.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider within 1 month of hire
- RN credentialed from Florida Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire
