Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while recording and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Multiple shifts available totaling 36 to 48 hours per week. Gross rate up to $3,073 per week. Requires BLS certification within 30 days of hire, prior Registered Nurse licensure, one year of acute care experience, and a diploma from an accredited nursing school. ACLS preferred.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
- Registered Nurse license obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Compact RN license or state RN license relevant to travel assignment location prior to start of assignment
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- One year of RN experience in an acute care setting
