Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Requires a registered nurse license, one year of acute care experience, and ACLS certification. Night shift schedule of 36 to 48 hours per week with gross rates up to $2,854. Local and national travel options available at Ascension Via Christi Hospitals Wichita and Ascension St. Thomas West.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
- Registered Nurse license obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Compact RN license or state RN license relevant to travel assignment location prior to start of assignment
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- One year of RN experience in an acute care setting
- ACLS certification
