Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care and assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Requires a registered nurse license, one year of acute care experience, and BLS certification. ACLS preferred. Available for day and night shifts at Ascension St. Vincent's Indianapolis, Anderson, and Evansville facilities.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
- Registered Nurse license obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Compact RN license or state RN license relevant to travel assignment location
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- One year of RN experience in an acute care setting
