Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while recording and communicating patient conditions. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Requires BLS certification within 30 days, prior Registered Nurse licensure, and one year of acute care experience. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
- Registered Nurse license obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Compact RN license or state RN license relevant to travel assignment location
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- One year of RN experience in an acute care setting
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification (preferred)
