Job Summary
Conduct direct nursing care for patients, including assessments, care planning, and medication administration. Monitor health status, record observations, and respond promptly to changes while administering prescribed treatments. Support daily living activities to promote independence and maintain accurate clinical records in line with governance standards. Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care and provide emotional support. Uphold infection control procedures, patient confidentiality, and professional standards throughout your shift work, which includes nights, weekends, and public holidays. Required Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration
- Relevant nursing degree or diploma
- Up-to-date knowledge of nursing practice, care standards, and clinical procedures
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to undergo background checks (DBS)
- Minimum of 1–2 years post-registration experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and nursing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and professional approach
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
