Job Summary
Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents with complex health and social needs at Frederic House. Use clinical expertise, empathy, and sound judgement to support residents in maintaining their health, managing complex needs, and connecting with appropriate care and community supports. This role is primarily focused on active night duty, working 9:00pm to 7:00am, with some flexibility to pick up morning, afternoon, or evening shifts depending on service needs and availability. Requirements include current AHPRA registration, First Aid and CPR certification, and strong clinical knowledge in aged care and complex health conditions. You must demonstrate understanding of mental health, substance dependence, and homelessness, alongside clear communication skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Strong clinical knowledge, including aged care and complex health conditions
- Understanding of mental health, substance dependence and homelessness
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Ability to work independently, particularly during night duty, as well as part of a team
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Commitment to respectful, person-centred care
- Confidence using clinical systems and digital tools
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & Module Certificate
- Shifts Primarily 9:00pm to 7:00am active night duty shifts, with some flexibility to pick up morning, afternoon or evening shifts if interested
