Registered Nurse

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to increase patient and family quality of life. Develop and implement plans of care using the nursing process, including collecting assessment data, determining diagnoses, and evaluating outcomes. Coordinate with patients, families, and the inter-professional team to set goals, plan interventions, and provide culturally sensitive, ethical, and compassionate care. Educate patients on measures to promote, maintain, and restore health. Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing colleagues and students. Perform point-of-care testing as assigned. Work in a constant state of alertness.
