Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to increase patient and family quality of life. Develop and implement plans of care using the nursing process, including collecting assessment data, determining diagnoses, identifying outcomes, and evaluating results. Educate patients and families on measures that promote, maintain, and restore health. Collaborate with patients, families, and the inter-professional team to set goals, plan interventions, and provide care. Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing colleagues and students. Perform point of care testing as assigned. Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Night shift schedule with 12-hour rotations; no on-call requirements. Requires Missouri RN license and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- State of Work Location: Missouri
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
