Registered Nurse

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Use the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care for medical-surgical patients, including systematic assessment, diagnosis, and outcome determination. Establish effective relationships with patients, families, and the inter-professional team to facilitate care planning and collaborative decision-making. Educate patients and families on health promotion and comfort measures. Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing colleagues, students, and others. Perform point of care testing as assigned. Work in a constant state of alertness while maintaining safe patient handling standards. Night shift coverage with 36 scheduled weekly hours. Requires a Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification in the specific state of assignment.
