Job Summary
The RN coordinates nursing and allied services for residents in the neighbourhood, leads shift reports, documents changes in residents’ conditions, and ensures timely implementation of physician orders. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and active provincial registration; knowledge of applicable Canadian acts and standards; and a commitment to safe, ethical, resident-focused care, teamwork, and a culture aligned with AgeCare values. Salary is $36.06/hour with benefits and opportunities for growth; Position is a PART_TIME role based in Willowdale, Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Registration in good standing with provincial registry
- Knowledge of relevant acts (Health Disciplines Act, etc.)
- Experience in geriatric/long-term care nursing
- Ability to coordinate nursing and other services
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Team leadership for shift reports
- Commitment to resident safety and quality care
