Job Summary
Perform head-to-toe physical assessments and reassessments for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Develop and revise individualized plans of care by incorporating cultural preferences and evidence-based nursing principles, then implement interventions including medication management, pain control, and patient education. Document all assessments, care plans, and communications effectively while evaluating treatment response and revising goals as needed. Demonstrate appropriate delegation to assistive personnel and ensure work environments meet safety standards to minimize patient harm. Maintain excellent service to patients and families while complying with regulatory requirements and organization policies. Requires a current Wisconsin RN license, BLS certification, and proficiency in EPIC EHR. Full-time position with on-call rotation available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or state state-approved school of nursing
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- Ability to move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces
- Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Ability to move about to accomplish tasks or move from one worksite to another
- Ability to constantly communicate with others to exchange information
- Constantly demonstrate the ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
- Involves light and medium work that includes moving objects up to pounds
- Ability to lift 25–50 pounds independently
- Ability to lift 50–100 pounds with assistance or mechanical devices
- Ability to push/pull 100–200 pounds (e.g., mobile equipment, wheelchairs)
- Must work primarily indoors
Desired Qualifications
- Previous clinic nursing experience
- Knowledge of EPIC EHR or ability to be proficient within four weeks of hire
