Registered Nurse - Specialty Procedure II - Interventional Radiology / Catheterization Laboratory

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, coordinate care plans, and implement interventions for patients in the cath lab and interventional radiology settings. Provide patient education, document care on flow sheets, and assist physicians with procedures while adhering to safety and infection control policies. Manage pain management, abuse assessments, and specialized care for high-risk patients, including restraint protocols. Collaborate with the health team to resolve problems and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Maintain a clutter-free environment and deliver courteous, age-appropriate service to patients and families.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- One year medical surgical experience
- ALS (Advanced Life Support)
- BLS HCP (Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to pull 100 pounds
- Subject to irregular hours
Desired Qualifications
- Critical Care experience
- Post Anesthesia Care (PACU) experience
