Job Summary

Develop and review individualized nursing care plans while conducting health assessments and administering specialized intravenous or injectable pharmacological treatments. Initiate peripheral IV access or central lines (PICC, IVAD) and provide patient-centered care through observation, assessment, counseling, and health teaching. Monitor patients for infusion-related reactions, report adverse events to supervisors, and maintain accurate documentation per pharmacovigilance requirements. Perform routine nursing duties aligned with company policies and provincial standards, utilizing demonstrated competencies for specialized procedures. This role supports continuity of care in home and clinic settings with flexible scheduling options, offering opportunities for professional development and conference participation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited program
  • Current registration in good standing with the provincial nursing regulatory body
  • Current BLS certification
  • ACLS certification (required for clinic roles)
  • Experience in acute care and/or specialty pharmaceutical administration
  • Valid driver's license

Desired Qualifications

  • Critical care (ER/ICU), infusion clinic, oncology, or home care experience
  • Strong peripheral IV skills
  • Central line experience (IVAD, PICC)
  • Strong patient assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
