Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Specialty Care Unit (PRN 7pm-7am) at Kernersville Medical Center IMU/ICU. Leads healthcare team by building authentic relationships with patients and their support systems, collaborating with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote optimal health or support a peaceful death. Provides care using best available evidence and compassionate practice, with accountability for management and provision of care per current policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state required
- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred
- If RN license inactive/retired/lapsed for five years and not licensed in another state in last five years, completion of Board approved refresher before reinstating
- One year relevant experience preferred
- In order to be considered for current licensure status, apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course
