Job Summary
Registered Nurse on a Specialty Care Unit (ICU/PCU/Stepdown) at Brunswick Medical Center, night shift (7 pm–7 am), full-time. Provides care for ICU and PCU/Stepdown patients in a 19-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 in ICU, 1:4 in PCU, and 1:1 for critical, intubated patients. Must hold active ALS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Collaborates with physicians and healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care. Requires NC nursing license (or multi-state/compact) and healthcare experience; degree requirements: graduate of accredited nursing program with Associate or Bachelor’s preferred. Emphasizes safety, teamwork, diversity and inclusion, and delivering high-quality patient care while upholding First Do No Harm principles.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact required.
- One-year relevant experience, preferred.
