Registered Nurse - Special Care Nursery - Part Time Evening Shift

Registered Nurse in the Special Care Nursery provides specialized neonatal care on the part-time evening shift. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive neonatal assessments, managing thermoregulation, glucose monitoring, and respiratory status, developing and delivering care plans for neonates with complications, documenting observations and care using Focus Charting, and communicating with parents about planned care, expected outcomes, and discharge instructions. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care, initiates clinical pathways on admission, and educates families on follow-up care and transfer processes. Licensure in Delaware is required; an ADN is required with a BSN preferred, and 2-3 years of NICU/Special Care Nursery experience plus BLS and timely NRP completion are expected.
