Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for high-acuity patients in the cardiology unit, prioritizing triage and executing standing orders and protocols. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration while ensuring accurate, timely documentation and compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote professional development within the care delivery team. This role requires specialized knowledge for ambulatory care needs including infusion services and sedation monitoring, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN License in state of practice
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Practice specific certification as required by the clinical setting in which they work (i.e., ACLS, PALS, etc.)
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Basic computer skills
- 100% participation in quality improvement initiatives (i.e. CQI, TQM, Lean)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Cardiology experience
