Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Southwest Cardiology in St. George, Utah, full-time. Provides comprehensive patient care by assessing physical, social, and psychological status; planning individualized care; implementing and coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team; and evaluating outcomes. Utilizes nursing process, evidence-based practice, and professional licensure provisions while documenting accurately and maintaining patient safety. Collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and other health team members to develop and adjust plans of care, ensuring timely education and referrals as needed. Requires current RN license in-state, BLS certification, and BSN within mandated timeframe; BSN preferred as of latest update.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
