Registered Nurse - South ED - Full Time - Evening Shift (2:30 PM - 3:00 AM)

Job Summary
Conduct professional nursing care for acute illness or trauma patients during the evening shift from 2:30 PM to 3:00 AM. Triage and determine care priority based on physical, psychological, and social needs while assessing, stabilizing, and initiating treatment for patients of all ages. Manage patient flow through the emergency care system by discharging patients after stabilization or arranging for longer hospital stays. Maintain active RN licensure in Missouri and obtain required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, and NRC within specified timelines. Work in a multi-tasking environment demonstrating critical thinking and effective communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
- RN license active in the state of Missouri
- BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days)
- ACLS certification (must be obtained within one year of hire)
- PALS certification (must be obtained within one year of hire)
- ENPC certification (must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
- TNCC certification (must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Course (NRC) (must be attended within one year of hire, then repeated every two years)
- Evening Shift (2:30 PM - 3:00 AM)
- 36 Hours weekly schedule
