Job Summary
Conduct professional nursing care for acute illness or trauma patients of all ages during the initial phase. Triage and determine care priority based on physical, psychological, and social needs while assessing patient requirements and prioritizing treatment based on critical nature. Stabilize patients, initiate treatment, and manage discharge after the emergency resolves or arrange for longer hospital stays. Work the evening shift from 10:15 AM to 11:00 PM, 36 hours weekly, maintaining flexibility in a multi-tasking environment. Obtain required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC within specified timeframes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
- RN license active in the state of Missouri
- BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days)
- ACLS certification (must be obtained within one year of hire)
- PALS certification (must be obtained within one year of hire)
- ENPC certification (must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
- TNCC certification (must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
Desired Qualifications
