Job Summary
Conduct patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with clinical protocols and physician orders. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document findings accurately while assisting physicians during procedures within scope. Scrub for surgeries, maintain sterile environments, and perform post-operative care including airway management, wound checks, and pain medication administration. Respond to medical emergencies, participate in code team activities, and implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans and provide patient education on conditions and discharge instructions. Perform audits, chart reviews, and compliance checks to support quality improvement initiatives. Maintain regular attendance and adhere to all facility policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
