Job Summary
Plan, deliver, and manage direct patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge in a patient-care setting. Perform patient assessment/reassessment, develop and coordinate individualized plans of care including discharge planning, and supervise/coordinate nursing care within the assigned clinical setting. Delegate appropriately to team members and ensure adherence to nursing standards. Requires MA nursing licensure, BLS (ACLS preferred/required as applicable), and professional nursing knowledge. Evening shift (2:45-11:15 PM), part-time schedule with holiday and weekend coverage. Eligible for potential signing bonus; hospital emphasizes respect standards and equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration
- BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS is current
- Unit-specific certifications and competencies may be required
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
