Job Summary
Complete patient assessments and evaluations prior to procedures, start and manage IVs, and prepare patient charts for ambulatory surgery. Monitor patients throughout recovery and procedures, administer IV sedation as appropriate, and assist with positioning and medication preparation in collaboration with providers. Provide patient education, answer questions regarding procedures, and triage patient calls related to previous or upcoming procedures. Maintain a safe, organized procedure room and ensure procedures run safely and efficiently while working closely with physicians in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- ACLS certification
- Dependable
- Team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Hands-on patient care
- Good communication with providers and coworkers
- Willingness to help wherever needed
- Monday–Thursday schedule
- No weekends or holidays
