Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) contract traveling opportunity at Chamberlain Medical Center, Chamberlain, SD. Responsible for providing individualized nursing care across the full scope of nursing practice, using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) and collaborating with inter-professional teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Contracts are 14 weeks with potential extensions or moves to other Sanford sites; weekly pay with stipend included and Sanford benefits. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program; RN license in the practicing state; 1+ year of nursing experience and at least 6 months of travel experience; travel nurses must live within 60 miles of the location. BSN preferred; licensure/competencies and certifications maintained as required by state and nursing practice acts; pre-employment drug screen and background check; Sanford is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license (state Board of Nursing or multi-state if in an NLC state)
- At least one year of nursing experience
- At least six months of travel nursing experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Possess department-specific competencies and certifications as required
