Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) sought for travel-contract roles at Bemidji Medical Center. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation), coordinating care with inter-professional teams, patient education, triage, and ensuring adherence to nursing standards and ethical guidelines. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, unencumbered RN license with possible multistate licensure, and at least 1 year of experience plus 6 months of travel experience. Contracts are 14 weeks with potential extension; night shifts with 36 hours weekly and weekly pay with benefits eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required (AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Unencumbered RN license where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
- Drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
- Contract are 14 weeks with option to extend or go to another Sanford site
- Work within the Nurse Practice Act and state regulations; professional conduct per ANA standards
