Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) position for travel staffing opportunities at Chamberlain Medical Center. Responsibilities include using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized patient care, collaborating with physicians and inter-professional colleagues, planning and coordinating care, patient assessment, education, triage, and other nursing interventions. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure; BSN preferred; multistate licensure if in an NLC state; competency certifications as needed. Contracts are 14 weeks with option to extend or transfer to another Sanford site; weekly pay with stipend included; Sanford benefits; travel experience and location-distance requirements apply.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs (multistate licensure if in an NLC state)
- Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- At least one year of nursing experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
