Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for travel contract at Chamberlain Medical Center, Chamberlain, SD. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation), coordinating care with inter-professional teams, caring for patients across preventative/diagnostic/treatment/follow-up phases, and providing patient education and triage. Requires RN license, 1 year experience, 6 months travel experience, and living within 60 miles of the site. Contract length is 14 weeks with potential extension or relocation to another Sanford site; benefits and weekly pay with stipend included.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure in NLC state
- 1 year of experience
- 6 months travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Contract is 14 weeks with option to extend or move to another Sanford site
