Registered Nurse

Provide nursing care across the full scope of practice using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to patients. Collaborates with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Cares for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up; responsible for planning and coordination of care, patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions. Practice within the Nurse Practice Act and standards; work on travel contracts at SD facilities with 14-week terms and potential extensions. Requires RN licensure and graduation from an accredited nursing program; travel experience and geographic eligibility criteria apply.
