Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) providing individualized nursing care across the full scope of practice. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation), coordinating patient care, planning and delivering education, triage, and executing nursing interventions. Collaborates with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care while adhering to state Nurse Practice Act and applicable ethical standards. Contracts are travel-based (14 weeks with potential extension) at Chamberlain Medical Center; shifts are 12 hours with rotating schedules, and a weekly pay rate with included stipend. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN license, and at least 1 year of experience with at least 6 months of travel experience; candidate must live at least 60 miles from the location. Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. Benefits are provided to qualifying employees; a drug screen and background check are required. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
- American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN)
- Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
- National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- at least one year of experience
- at least six months of travel experience
