Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) position for travel staffing at Chamberlain Medical Center in Watertown, SD. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process across patient care phases, collaborating with inter-professional clinicians, planning and coordinating patient care, patient education, and triage within the full scope of nursing practice. Requires at least one year of nursing experience, at least six months of travel experience, and residing at least 60 miles from the site. Contract assignments are 14 weeks with potential extension or transfer to another Sanford site; benefits include weekly pay with stipend included and eligibility for Sanford benefits. Licensure requirements include an unencumbered RN license and, if applicable, multistate licensure under the Nurse Licensure Compact; candidates must meet department competencies and certifications. Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. Drug screen and background check are conditions of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
