Job Summary
Direct and supervise licensed staff and non-professional nursing personnel in providing patient care, supporting medical care under the direction of the Medical Staff. Ensure all personnel operate pursuant to hospital objectives while demonstrating leadership ability and critical thinking skills. Maintain current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse and hold American Heart Association BLS certification. Requires previous clinical nursing experience, excellent communication skills, and computer proficiency. Full-time night shift rotation. OakBend Medical Center is an independent hospital providing exceptional care since 1950 with a signature No Wait ER, advanced trauma center, and certified stroke program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Previous clinical nursing experience
- Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse
- American Heart Association BLS
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer skills
